Two Maples Nubians is located in beautiful northwest Pennsylvania.  Our journey with goats started in 2011 when we decided we would like to have some fresh milk for the table.  So we started with two grade does, a Nubian and a Saanen.  It didn't take long before we fell in love with the Nubian's loving personality and their extra creamy, sweet milk! We soon purchased 2 bred registered does and a doeling to start our herd.  We've worked hard to bring in genetics that keeps every generation moving towards our ideals.  We take pride in breeding quality Purebred and American Nubians , focusing primarily on milk production, well attached  mammary systems, correct conformation  and a gentle demeanor.  We love the look of the old time deep bodied. dual purpose Nubian, and make our breeding selections to attain and maintain that style. Our herd participates in the ADGA Performance Programs, including milk testing through DHIR and utilizing the Linear Appraisal program.  All of our herd sires are DNA typed, and we are now working on typing all of the does.  Our Nubians are G6S normal and most carry a high casein protein variant which means a higher cheese yield from the milk.
